China Feb gas imports at record 7.37 bcf/d

 China's daily gas imports increased a third from a year earlier to a record high of 7.37 bcf in February, official data showed. The increase was mostly due to a surge in gaseous imports from Turkmenistan, which rose 48 percent year on year.

Average price for gaseous imports, from Central Asia and Myanmar, was US$8.44 per mmBtu,  10 percent lower than the price in January, and price for LNG imports averaged at  US$10.33/mmBtu, 7 percent down from the previous month, the data showed.
