CNGIA attends State Council's Advisor Office meeting

At the invitation of the Advisory Office of the State Council, China's cabinet, China Natural Gas Industry Assocation (CNGIA) attended the Energy Industry Regulation Symposium on August 14.
The symposium focused on how to streamline China's energy market regulation so as to provide an effective institutional arrangement for the purpose of supporting China's energy market transformation. Topics discussed in the meeting included government energy regulatory body setup, responsibility, decision-making process, execution and supervisory mechanism, the role of industry association in regulating the energy market.
Ren Xianwei, secretary general of CNGIA, and Zhang Haixia, deputy secretary general of CNGIA, attended the meeting.
