INVITATION
to Attend a Practical Course on Natural Gas-fuelled Distributed Energy Project Development

China has laid out ambitious plan to improve energy efficiency and implement energy-saving programs, as part of an overall aim to curb the country’s voracious demand for energy and mounting emissions. It has decided to more than double natural gas consumption in the coming five years, while boosting wind, solar and nuclear power supply capacity to cut the country’s over-reliant on coal.

Premier Li Keqiang stated clearly that China needs to develop distributed energy, as an important way to address energy efficiency and energy security.

On October 23, 2014, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the National Energy Administration jointly promulgated an urgent document on the implementation of natural gas distributed energy projects. The document detailed rules on project application, selection, implementation, evaluation and policy incentives.

Despite the potentially huge demand for natural gas distributed energy projects in China, many interested parties are not well prepared to initiate such a program due to the lack of understanding of the benefits of distributed energy projects, the shortage of experienced personnel and technical know-hows.

As such, China Natural Industry Association, in collaboration with Natural Gas and Pipeline Networks and with the support from the National Energy Administration and the State Administration of Work Safety, will organize a training course on natural gas distributed energy on Jan 21-23, 2015 in Beijing. The training will provide practical guide on every aspect of developing such projects, including planning, design, investment, construction, operation and others.
